The Dikman Company, a commercial/industrial real estate services firm, announced Erika Zipfel Thompson represented Advanced Roofing to lease out 12,132 square feet of space that was not being fully utilized. Advance Roofing originally purchased the 32,721 square-foot industrial building in late 2019. The property is located on 7.14 acres at 4909 West Knollwood Street, Tampa, Fla.
“Executive Vice President of Advanced Roofing Mike Kornahens wanted to locate a short-term tenant to take over available square footage in their existing building,” said Erika. “Mike felt we could find a suitable tenant and I was happy to help. I wasn’t sure how long it might take to lease the space when many are understandably hesitant to view properties around Tampa right now due to the pandemic. It turns out we were able to find the right tenant quickly. Mike was great to work with again and I was pleased to have another chance to meet his real estate needs.”
“Erika worked hard for more than a year to find us the right property to purchase for our business in the airport area,” said Mike. “We closed on our new building on December 30, 2019. Knowing it was larger than we currently need for our business, it made economic sense to lease out the extra space. I contacted Erika to see if she could help find a tenant to lease the extra warehouse space and was very pleased she found one in such a short period of time.”
